How to Write SF
Hot off the presses from ReAnimus Press! The Craft of Writing Science Fiction that Sells by Ben Bova, best-selling author and six-time Hugo Award winner for Best Editor. (This is one of the books your ol' Critter Captain learned from himself, and I highly recommend it.)
Free Books
I've got five review copies of my newest ebook, A PRIVATE MUTINY and of the Vonnegut/Catch22-esque SIDE EFFECTS available for those who'd like one.
Book Recommendation
I wholeheartedly think you'll like this book ("Biff America" - humor) and want to recommend it to you.

Critters Newsgroup Message Relocation
Since the Critters sff.workshop.critters (s.w.c) newsgroup is a direct reflection on the behavior of members of the Critters workshop, guidelines exist for it's proper use, notably that the newsgroup is a No Flame Zone. However, very few guidelines exist for sff.workshop.critters-volcano-bar-and-grill (hence the name).

When a "second" has been made, the message is moved, and a message posted back to s.w.c stating who did the relocation.
Please enter your critters password and the message-id of the posting you
wish to see relocated. The message-id is the gibberish between <> in
the "Message-ID: <34115ad7.0@news.sff.net>" header. If the Message-ID
header is not displayed by your newsreader, there is probably an option
